ALL SECURE
A SPECIAL OPERATION'S SOLDIER'S FIGHT TO SURVIVE ON THE BATTLEFIELD AND THE HOMEFRONT

All Secure: A Special Operations Soldier’s Fight to Survive on the Battlefield and the Homefront by Tom Satterly is a gripping and deeply personal memoir that chronicles Tom’s harrowing experiences as a Delta Force operator, including his involvement in the Battle of Mogadishu, later dramatized in Black Hawk Down. The book not only explores the intense and high-stakes world of special operations combat but also delves into the hidden toll of war, particularly the devastating effects of PTS and the struggle to reintegrate into civilian life. With raw honesty, Tom shares his battles with suicidal thoughts, strained relationships, and personal demons, offering a rare glimpse into the cost of serving at the highest level. Ultimately, All Secure is a story of resilience, healing, and hope, as Tom and his wife, Jen, work together to overcome these challenges and build a foundation to help other warriors and their families navigate life after service.

ARSENAL OF HOPE Tactics for Taking on PTSD, Together

A guide that empowers family members combating post-traumatic stress on the home front, offering hope, purpose, and tangible solutions.

This book provides definitions and real-life examples of complex PTSD and complex secondary PTSD (seen in a rapidly rising number of spouses and children), and the problems that arise when untreated. Arsenal of Hope aims to help soldiers, first responders, their families, and civilians with trauma.

Jen Satterly is a certified coach and respected authority on PTS, having been embedded with Special Operations during large scale military training missions and married to a Delta Force Command Sgt. Major. As a cofounder of a nonprofit for Special Operations warriors and their families to heal after the trauma of war, her stories, research, realistic advice, and sometimes humor, are told through a military lens.

Written with award-winning collaborative writer Holly Lorincz, Satterly uses her firsthand knowledge and medical expertise to deal with each issue. Most importantly, she illustrates how to change and create habits to circumvent the symptoms of post-traumatic stress.
